So, when we attempted our games this week, we discovered a very painful truth; We don't have enough gear. Sure we are alright in the early thousands bracket, but when we started to break 1400 SLAP! So we had to go grind some battlegrounds to get some more pieces and up our resil a bit. After a rough start and a brief break from the nerd rage we were back in the Arena and fairing much better.
After working on this weeks video and posting it, I was dismayed to find out that the audio track had been muted. After putting in a claim to un-mute the audio with Youtube, the video was removed! So after re-recording a few voice overs, touching up a few spots and adding new music the video was resubmitted. I am happy to report that this time it has remained untouched by youtube. Yay! So without further delay, here is this weeks video.

Week One - Gear? Who needs that?
So, title kind of says it all. We really have no gear, but still kind of ripped up the early MMR matches. We're sitting at a cool 1189 rating at the moment, which for... 25 games isn't bad. We have minimal time to invest in arena, so we try and make it good!
That being said, things are starting to hurt now as an Enhancement Shaman without gear. Kiaera is still A-OK in terms of survivability, but his lack of PvP gear minimizes damage output. So we've hit a tiny wall, but nothing that's too big a deal. BG grind time incoming!
Other than that, been leveling a second toon - Deej is gearing up his Holy Paladin, too. I picked Warrior, and am loving the Arms side of things, since I actually do a decent job blowing shit up in PvE too.
Hopefully soon I can get Zin'rohk. LOOOOOOOOOOTS of grinding to get it, but hey, who cares, right? It's an epic! And it looks cool. And looking cool is about as cool as things can get!
So yeah, we're making progress. Made a nice video for week one, and Deej is working on the video for week 2. As we progress a little though, we're both thinking that Paladin + Arms Warrior (nerfs be damned) might actually be a stronger comp... guess we'll need to experiment with that, the season is young!
